The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and the food is traditionally English, freshly cooked using fine ingredients, locally sourced where possible and with vegetables and fruit from the garden. Great wines!The hotel is conveniently situated just off the A40 between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, ideal for breaking a journey between the North of England and South Wales and for visiting the many attractions of the surrounding country which includes the Forest of Dean, the Wye Valley, the Welsh Marches, all set in glorious scenery.
