Anatrim
Recently there has been a flood of spam emails advertising anatrim, a supposedly new weight loss pill. The product is described as dietary supplement for safe effective weight loss that contains no caffeine or ephedera.
How anatrim is supposed to work
Anatrim is sold as an appetite suppressant with the main active ingredient consisting of compounds extracted from the "Anatrim gordonii" cactus. Unfortunately there is no anatrim gordonii cactus, although there is a Hoodia gordonii cactus from South Africa which is widely promoted as the hoodia appetite suppressant.
Anatrim is also supposed to contain a number of other ingredients including Garcinia Cambogia and Spirulina. Garcinia Cambogia is believed by some to interfere with fat storage in the body although the evidence is inconclusive. Other supplements are also available which claim to assist with weight loss such as dietrine and herbal phentermine.
Other weight loss techniques
As most people realize the only way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you are using. The problem many people face is that they constantly feel hungry and want help from appetite suppressants, carb blockers and other diet aids like anatrim and hoodia. An alternative is to follow diet plans such as the Sonoma Diet or the or join a support group.
